The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work, (General Applications) Regulations 2007, Chapter 4 of Part 2, outline the requirements that must be adhered to in relation to manual handling.

The key requirements include:

  • Providing instruction and training to relevant staff.
  • Carrying out a manual handling risk assessment
  • Reduce the need for the manual handling of loads by employees

The course duration is 2 hours and will be delivered at a chosen location

The number of learners attending is limited from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 20 persons. For larger groups, please arrange multiple group bookings with Centre of Excellence
